Introduction

Located on the island of Kauai, Hawaii, the Kauai Society of Artists (KSA) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to offering exhibition and educational opportunities for Kauai artists, residents, and visitors. KSA sponsors art exhibitions, artists lectures, newsletters and a website to support and develop the talents of Kauai's visual artists while also promoting public appreciation for the arts.

KSA is funded in part by the Hawaii State Foundation on Culture and the Arts celebrating more than 30 years of culture and the arts in Hawaii.

Membership

Anyone who pays the annual dues of $20 (for an individual) or more can become an active member of KSA. Dues are also accepted when entering any KSA exhibition. Dues and donations are tax deductible. Dues are good for one year from the date of joining.

KSA members are entitled to enter KSA exhibitions (note: the Art Kauai juried exhibition is limited to adult resident Kaua'i artists only, and KSA membership is optional) and to receive the KSA Newsletter. KSA also sponsors artist lectures, publicizes exhibitions, and features member artists in their online Artist Gallery.
Note: While KSA welcomes off-island members it should be noted that artworks for exhibition must be hand-delivered and ready to exhibit. Off-island members must have a representative or contact on island to handle drop-off and pick-up of artworks entered in KSA exhibitions. KSA is not responsible for unpacking, crating, or shipping of artworks. Also, the annual Art Kauai exhibition is limited to adult Kauai residents (6 months or more of the year).

Attention New Members!- KSA needs your help! Please volunteer in any way you can whether it be helping to receive exhibit entries, install the exhibit, set up reception, clean up after, show sit, or on take down day. With a small budget KSA accomplishes all it does only through the hard work of its volunteer member artists. Thanks for taking an active role in our arts community.
